Precious Vilakazi

Mrs Precious Vilakazi is one of South Africa's young women who is making an immense contribution in the field of water and environment. She is the founding member of Asande Projects, a company that is gradually and consistently becoming an authoritative voice in the field of environmental management sector and expertise that are sort after.

She holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Honours in Economics from the University of Zululand. She is currently completing her Masters in Agricultural Economics at the University of Pretoria.

Prior establishing Asande Projects, she worked as a lecturer at the University of Zululand and later joined the Department of Water and Environmental (DWAE) previous know as Department of Water Affairs and Forestry (DWAF) as an Assistant Director Environmental Economics. She has been involved numerous projects ranging from water resource management to infrastructure development inside and outside South Africa.
